Fido (born Awosika Olayemi Josiah on September 21, 1997) is a Nigerian Afro-fusion singer and songwriter known for blending Afrobeats, trap, R&B, and dancehall into a distinctive contemporary sound. Rising as an independent artist, he gained international recognition with the viral hits "Awolowo" and "Joy Is Coming," establishing himself as one of Nigeria's fastest-rising musical talents.

Born in Lagos and raised in Matogun, Ogun State, Fido discovered music through his church choir before studying music production at PEFTI Film Institute. His stage name originated from a secondary school nickname inspired by the 7UP mascot, Fido Dido.

Inspired by artists including Fela Kuti, Olamide, and Kizz Daniel, Fido has built a loyal fan community known as Osha FC. His authentic approach, infectious melodies, and independent spirit continue to position him as one of the leading voices of Africa's new generation of artists.
